Michael McDowell, I am Second team up at Texas Motor Speedway

MOORESVILLE, N.C. (April 14, 2010) - The I am Second ministry will adorn the hood and quarter panels of Michael McDowell's No. 81 Dodge Charger as the primary sponsor for the NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Texas Motor Speedway on Saturday, April 17.

McDowell is in his second full season in the Nationwide Series and in his first season with MacDonald Motorsports. He recently scored his second top-20 finish of the 2010 season last weekend at Phoenix International Raceway.

"I am Second is a tremendous program that I'm happy to have on board for this weekend," said McDowell. "I've received a lot of attention at Texas Motor Speedway in the past, so hopefully we can earn I am Second some positive publicity in this Saturday's Nationwide Series race."

In addition to sponsoring the No. 81 Dodge in Saturday's race, I am Second is utilizing additional outreaches this weekend at TMS. I am Second logos are featured on the No. 18 Joe Gibbs Racing car driven by Kyle Busch and is also promoted on the No. 18 and Daystar (driven at other NASCAR affiliated races by Blake Koch) show cars at the venue. A special video truck  that features I am Second videos will be seen at various parts of the speedway, and outreach ministries groups are passing out I am Second-themed materials to fans.

I am Second's other racing affiliations include events and teams in cycling, motorcross, speed motorcycling, and road rally.

ESPN2 will air the O'Reilly 300 from Texas Motor Speedway at 3pm EST
