TAGS DOES DOUBLE DUTY IN MONTREAL THIS WEEKEND

Both the NASCAR Nationwide Series and NASCAR Canadian Tire Series events in Montreal this weekend will have a car #81 entry driven by Canadian Alex Tagliani. Alex will run the Nationwide Series event with MacDonald Motorsports, a team that is 25th in points in the series. The Nationwide opportunity exists thanks to the support of Dodge and the Quebec Dodge Dealers Association. " I am very excited to have a talent like Alex in our car at a home race for both of us", stated Randy MacDonald, team owner and fellow Canadian. " His knowledge of this track and technical savvy will be a great asset to our team and we want to give Dodge a good showing."

"I enjoy the underdog role", says Tagliani. " I want to do my best for the team, Dodge and all my other partners that have supported me in this effort." Joining Dodge in support of Alex and the team are Sennheiser, Dor Doctor, Lobe, Sears and Craftsman.

Tagliani will also pilot his own car, newly created team TSGN racing in the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series. This is the same car/driver combination that qualified on the pole and led several laps in Trois Rivieres two weeks ago before mechanical issues forced him from the race. "I had a blast in Trois Rivieres setting a new track record in my first attempt for my own team, " voiced Tagliani. " I look forward to repeating that effort and hopefully getting to the finish line first this time."

Joining Tagliani's NASCAR Canadian Tire effort is H. Gregoire.
