The Creation Museum, located near the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky Airport, is a ministry of Answers in Genesis, a nonprofit Christian organization dedicated to confirming the validity of the Bible from the very first verse.
"When Randy MacDonald approached us with the idea of participating in the race this weekend, we were delighted to be included. Racing is very popular here in Kentucky, and this is a great opportunity for the Creation Museum to be brought to the attention of a new audience at an incredible venue just an hour from us,” said museum founder Ken Ham. “We are proud to be a part of the MacDonald Motorsports team for this weekend and will be cheering them on to victory.”
“As we were planning for the Meijer 300 at the Kentucky Speedway, we looked around for local businesses and organizations that would mesh with our team’s values and audience, and we felt the Creation Museum fit that criteria,” said team owner Randy MacDonald.
This weekend entering the Meijer 300, the MacDonald Motorsports team enters the race sitting 23rd in owners points only 103 points out of 20th. “Everyone on the team is excited about the partnership with the Creation Museum this weekend,” crew chief David Ingram stated. “ We are looking forward to making a charge towards the front and to have Bobby in the car at place where he has won before has all the guys here excited,” Ingram continued.
Fans can catch Bobby Hamilton Jr. in the Creation Museum car, as they take to the track Saturday evening at 8 p.m. eastern on ESPN2 for the Meijer 300.
