D.H. Griffin Companies and Commemorative Firearms to Sponsor MacDonald Motorsports at Daytona
Thomasville, N.C. (Feb. 10, 2009) – D.H. Griffin Companies is coming on-board as the primary sponsor and Commemorative Firearms as an associate of the No. 81 MacDonald Dodge Charger driven by DJ Kennington in this weekend’s NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Daytona International Speedway.
D.H. Griffin Companies has been providing services to the construction and construction related industries for over 50 years. They provide services in the following fields: demolition, dismantlement and erecting, hazardous materials removal, infrastructure, site development, grading and site preparation, used process equipment, new construction, recycling and brownfields site redevelopment.

Commemorative Firearms, a division of S&S Promotional Group, manufactures, license and sells limited edition, commemorative rifles. Last year, the company released the limited edition 50th Anniversary Daytona 500 rifle in celebration of The Great American Race. These 24kt.gold plated rifles are etched along the barrel showing the progression of the cars that have raced on this legendary superspeedway for the past 50 years. These numbered rifles also depict some historical finishes that have taken place in the “Super Bowl” of racing.

Having a rifle available to view on the MacDonald Motorsports hauler will help the competitors see our level of quality up close. MacDonalds’ No. 81 entry finished in the top 30 in NASCAR owners’ point standing, giving them a guaranteed spot in the Camping World 300 that is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 14, 2009.
